The staring thing, yeah I would say its your apparel that's catching their eye.
The one thing that catches me as odd is why everyone who claims to be so damn unique generally look the same....purple fishnets, long black lacy skirt, checked flats, beret, bright blue gloves, DIY "hehehe" slogan top.

Oh yeah you do dress weird. Over-accessorised and too many complicated designs.
It's perfectly normal for people to stare at you if it's the way you dress, or perhaps you were hoping to achieve that attention?
Anyway, why do you dress weird? Is it some kinda fundamental self-esteem problem and you need attention(even if it's the wrong kind) or is this the way you really are deep down inside?
If it is an esteem problem then yeah, it's gonna be hard for you to find love but if it's the way you are, then go ahead and flaunt it. Who knows, you might even find a guy who shares your fetish for teaming bad clothes together!

People may stare if you dress differently than everyone else. You sound a lot like one of my friends, and she gets guys by just being satisfied with who she is. Find out who you are and what is best for you in the long run and then act like that person. Don't be afraid of what people will think.

possibly. it can be that.
some people are very critical at the smallest things.
and it also depends on how you act also.
so with a weird personailty with weird clothes=not so good.
there's this girl in our school, she wears costumes everyday instead of clothes. and i mean costumes...like she would dress up as a cat.
but i haven't heard anything bad from her, in fact she has a bf who fits her pretty well.
and she has respect as well, people say she dresses weird but they also say she has a nice style.
but number 1 is your personality,
some girls are so freakin ugly but yet they have bf and obviously it's the way they act that gets them.
you'll eventually find a guy.
time changes, you'll change too.
and that isn't necessary not being yourself...people just change, think more differently. act differently.
especially in highschool, if you haven't been there yet, there's tons more people. lots of diversity. haha. goodluck.

I think the way you dress is just a phase, and it probably won't last long. Eventually you'll start shopping at stores and wearing store-bought, clothes.
I remember back in high school, I went through a few years where I had my hair a different colour everyday. I coloured it with kool-aid. One day it would be green, the next day it would be red, the next day it would be purple, etc, etc.. It was fun, then i grew out of that cause everyone thought it was immature and childish.
And when I was in elementary school i went through a lipstick phase. One day it would be dark brown, the next day it would be hot pink, the next day it would be black, the next day it would be fire engine red. lol
Those were the days..
If people don't accept you just the way you are, then screw them!

I think you should try an experiment. Dress yourself up to look like the typical girl for a week and see what kind of reaction you get. If you like it, you should continue wearing those kind of clothes. If you don't, go back to what you usually wear. Then you will know that it's not what you wear that is the problem. Hope that helps and good luck.

people don't think you are weird...they are just curious...and the best way to help them overcome their curiousity is with a smile. A smile works wonders, a gesture so simple, yet carries a million meanings and leave the imagination to wonder what the smile meant....so smile...as far as guys liking you, straight up, guys like unique girls, not your typical stuff, so be yourself, and eventually you will find a fellow freak...

You sound alright to me, and intelligent. You seem like you may be on the younger side as well. As you grow older, you'll find guys who like you. Be careful with odd dress, however. This will attract odd guys, and that's not necessarily a good thing.

Honestly, I'm going to be completely honest, and its just kind of true, throughout middle and high school. Yes, its becuase of how you dress. Don't talk about random things if someone is talking about eggs talk about eggs. If someone is taking about poop dont talk about pee. Kinda like that.
