Cynophobia or canine phobia is considered a treatable problem. There are a number of clinics and books you can look into to help you with it.

I am including a link below to a clinic I chose at random that treats Cynophobia to give you an idea of what the process might involve. I'm not recommending this specific clinic per se, however; you'll want to do some research about clinics and therapists who treat cynophobia in your area.

Meet one of my dogs and you'll be won over really quick! :-)
Usually people are frightened of dogs from a bad experience as a child. I grew up with dogs and can read their body language so have never been bitten (well maybe a nip). Dogs are wonderful creatures. There's nothing as wonderful as having one sleep next to you all cuddled up on a cold night.

get a dogg and make sure he/she is a puppy when u get it and it will grow on u
