What's the difference between "spiritual" and "religious"? Besides, why should we be excluded from religious discussions? We find the concept of religion interesting.

Where have we said that we're only here for spiritual reasons? Actually it gets asked all the time why we are in this section and our reasons are many.
Atheists don't believe in god and hence not in religion either, but that doesn't mean we don't have an opinion on the subject. Does it bother you to hear different views on the subject?
Many atheists used to be religious, so they can answer questions about their previous religion even though they don't believe that stuff anymore and they can debate about religions.
Even though us atheists don't like it, religion effects our life a lot without us following any religion ourselves. Religion has influence in politics and law-making and it's a major power in society, so we are in many ways forced to follow rules that come from religion whether we like it or not. In some countries (the USA for example) atheists and other groups (such as homosexuals) are discriminated against because of religious teachings against them, so it's natural that we want to speak up against that and debate about subjects that effect our lives, freedom and equality.

Atheists aren't allowed to have an opinion about religion? When did that happen? Most atheists know more about christianity than at least 90% of christians do, in my experience, and are certainly more versed in other religions than most christians as well. Just because I don't follow a religion, doesn't mean I'm not well-versed in it. Besides, when you want impartial advice about a certain group, it's universally a bad idea to get that information from a member of said group.

not necessarily,at least not all atheist,i know a couple of atheist that were christians before who actually belived in God and Jesus.but somewhere down the line something was said or done to offend them to the point where all they wanted to do now is be the total opposite.deep down inside a person ,any person, i truly believe there is good, its just that good part of them was hurt.now comes the part where they had to make a choice and being an atheist is the choice that they made.besides religion can't save you anyways only JESUS can.

I am an atheist who is currently majoring in Religious Studies at a major university. To the atheist, or in your case... anyone who doesn't agree with our opinions, religion is not just one man's ideas of right or wrong, but history (both living and dead). I attend various religious ceremony, but I do not agree with anything theological they present to me, only their views of morals and ethics.
This is like a conservative stating that liberals shouldn't be in the political science section because we happen to disagree with your opinions on that topic as well.

I am an atheist and I have options on religion. Those options is the reason to why I am an atheist. So, when someone ask religious questions I want to share my opinions.

You're wrong. I'll now correct you. Atheists do not believe in god. We believe that religions exist. How could we not? There's plenty of evidence of religions. I'm living on a street with four churches in less than one km. Of course there is religion.
Whether we follow it or not, religion affects us all. Especially when religious Fundies are trying to change laws to force their warped views on us.
Consider also that most Atheists were religious and did believe in some god at one point. We no longer believe in the fairy tales, but often we're well versed in your dogma.

I'm here because I like a good debate. I also want to understand different religions more, because they all fascinate me. It doesn't mean I will ever belive in a god though, I just think a little understanding would make the world a better place.

Don't be ridiculous. It isn't a requirement to BE religious to talk about religious things, nor is it a requirement to be spiritual to talk about spiritual things...
You are only like, the 10 billionth person to ask this question...

We're still allowed to be informed on religion and have a religion about religion. So we answer questions about it.
