1. The computer, one can do without it. But in recent times it as become a part of our lives. It has made our lives easier to an extent. Though it has its downsides, it wholly depends on the individual to appreciate the positive and discard the negative aspect of the intellectual tool of the century. Look at the tool as a gateway to knowledge of both the good and the bad, but the choice is yours, to decide which of it you prefer... The blue pill or the red pill. The onus lies on you. (Disagree)
2. Arts and music are important to society, as they nuture the whole person. It's as important as education is to the denizen. It educates the person intellectually, socially and aesthetically. (Agree)

For both questions 50% agree and 50% disagree because -
1. Computers - what are the negative effects. Young or even to some extent elderly people get spoiled by going to various unwanted subjects and adult sites. Make children to get addicted to games etc., there by causing high impact on their studies. The plus points you are aware of.
2. Art and Music are must and necessary in ones life. but spending more time on it will affect the usual wanted part. People should learn these but should be only as extra activity and should know the limit, full time on these subjects will not provide living for all. If you make it compulsory people it will be an additional expenditure and the main education will get affected to some extent. -

1. I believe computers (and the internet) are a great tool for education, information and research. Sure they have a negative effect in some respects, but they're also a great resource. It's a matter of weighing the pros and cons
2. I believe all children should be encouraged to develop their creativity through education in arts and music, but at some point it should become their own choice whether or not to persue such education, as not everyone is creatively inclined, just as some people are not inclined to take interest in mathenatics etc. Each to their own!

1. Disagree. There has been much gain b/c of and through computers; of course some have misused technology sometimes.
2. Do you mean art or music class, both or either? Anyway, I agree. I don't think that it hurts to learn about something outside of the usual (grammar, math, etc.)

1. Computers are a great thing, but the internet has had a terrible effect on society.
2. No. they're nice but not very practical. everyone should be able to read and write and learn science/math before something that's just for fun. if they're intelligent people they will get to liking art later.

1.Disagree, information is knowledge. Chatrooms have created forum for the ignorant.
2. Absolutely. Art is expression. Music is communication.
