Okay, all of my friends are either in relationships or married. I feel alone. I never had a boyfriend or a first kiss in my life, but I have dated before. I feel desperate. I feel that if I don't get a man, then I might a well throw in the towel and give up and be single for the rest of my life. I have lost my patience (I'm not a patient person at all), and I tried my best to be patient. I have sent a message to a boy on facebook whom I'm interested in, but he haven't responded back. I said to him that I was going to call him, but he took off his moble phone number off. And I felt that I have did something wrong.
I tend to be shy. And I'm full figured. I feel that no one decent would want to go out with me. The guys that would love to go out with me want sex. And I'm want to wait until marriage or so for that.
Please help me. I want serious answers, NO smart answers. I don't have that time for that immaturity.
Thanks.

I hate to have to give you this answer, but don't try so hard and someone will eventually come along...when you least expect it. Just keep your options and heart open and someone will come along.
If you really cannot wait, then just talk to different guys, be charming, look confident (whether you actually are or not isn't too important heh), and don't act desperate. Also you could ask your friends to set you up with someone they know. Blind dates do work sometimes you know.

I'm a lot older than you and I don't want a girlfriend. I've had girlfriends and was even married. Now I've been single for over 10 years and I'm really enjoying myself and my life. I do whatever I want to do without having to check or be "okay" with anyone. I don't need another person to "complete me"...I'm a whole happy person, thank you very much. Even though it's said that there's a mate for everyone, not everyone was meant to have another person attached to them for life. Just because you want a boyfriend doesn't mean that you should have one. You say you've been there and done that and your still alone. Maybe that's for a reason. You need to perfect yourself before you try to complicate your's and another person's life. This is a serious answer and I hope you can see the wisdom in it and not be negative because I haven't said what you want to hear.

i know how you feel to an extent. i'm 16 and i've never had a boyfriend or a first kiss. All of my close friends are going out with someone or recently have. i also feel like throwing in the towel. you feel like the outsider i know. I'm the same as you i want to wait for marriage to have sex. I wish i could give you a word of advice but since i'm in the same boat as you it's kind of hard. Just keep looking though. You said you messaged the guy over facebook. just tell it to his face. Say something before its too late. It might backfire on you but its better to try than to go your whole life wondering what could have been.
i wish the best for you.

I know its hard, but wait for a guy to ask you out on a dinner date. Keep going on dates together. The problem is that most guys need to have sex in a relationship if they are not virgins. If they are a virgin then you two can have a relationship where you both will save yourself for marriage. Interestingly, men develop feelings through sex, while women develop feelings by talking and having her partner's emotional support. I think your only answer is for you to find a male virgin (rare) because a man that is not will always want to have sex and you just may get fed up with it or give into it.

I will tell you what my dad told me a long time ago. Men want what they can't have. Men like the chase. Haven't you heard "you lit him chase you until you catch him"? Don't be so available. After my 3rd marriage I was done with men so I decided that I would not go out for one yr. Will it seemed that every other day someone asked me out. I decided that I would not see any man until my yr was up and it was great. I found out about me and then after the yr I found the best guy I ever had. (still with him)
I believe you need to be happy with yourself before you can be happy with a man. Have you ever thought of doing a love ritual? If you want email me and tell you how.
Know in your heart you are a Goddess.

Don't be so hard on yourself. There's a saying that says "Whether you believe it or not, before you go to bed at night there's one person that is longing to be with you. They want to hold you, kiss you and have you forever in their arms." Just don't give up hope this is the devils way of trying to get into your life. Fear is something from the devil. Have faith and keep telling yourself "yes i can". Just never give up. You're still 24 and its ok you'll find the right guy yes its hard to be patient i know i'm still waiting to but you're not alone. Just hang in there ok? =)

i guess patience is the key to getting into a great and fulfilling relationship. you'll just have to wait for the right guy to come along. your still young, so don't give up yet! i met my love only when i was 30!
btw i love the fact that u insist on having sex only after marriage. way to go girl!

I know of one very good website where you could find someone:
http://www.eharmony.com/singles
"eHarmony matches you based on compatibility in the most important areas of life – like values, intellect, sense of humor, and 25 other dimensions"
Also something else that would help, pray to God to help you find someone and believe that God will help you find someone.
Something else that would help over time you will figure out the type of person thats best for you, one of the big keys is to observe people, be more observant when you are out and about and it probably help you get more over being shy, also something that really helps with the being observant is learning how to communicate with guys better, one of the other keys is "communicating better" I think that chatting online is a good way to learn how to commuicate better and then use what you learned for finding someone.
Also if you ever go to the mall try to observe how other females are interacting with their boyfriends, you probably learn alot there to about communicating better.

well you almost sound like your christian. If not excuse me. ...i have a cousin who is n never had a first anything too. so dont feel bad, she talks to guys but she is also to busy for a realtionship, studying abrod. She's puttin herself first in all situations. N i think thats what you should do.So when Mr. Right does come your way, he'll really have something to be proud of like he scored or something. Cause there aren't too many girls who are like that. N 4 the guy on face book.....F him. hes most likely wasn't "deserving" of you anyways.... ^_^
