Permanent hair color is the only thing that will stay any length of time. And as your hair is black, it is going to involve bleach.
What about highlights? Those look so cool on all the young girls now-a-days. Alas, I am too old for them. Sigh

gosh i have the same problem my hair is super black thats good u dont want to bleach ur hair because i did it now my hair is awful. all i know is a rinse wouldnt be helpful neither henna

the only way i know is to do blond first and then the color that you want. It would mean that you would have to strip the black pigment from your hair though. Sorry that is the only suggestion that i have
