It depends on how tall he was at 2 (give or take). It also depends on the hieghts of his mother and father. My son was about that size at age 7 and with all the other factors laid in, my pediatrician says he will be about 6'4" when he's finished growing. However, his father is 6'7" and I am 5'8".

I think it is incredibly unlikely that you will look more attractive if you drop 18 pounds. I think what you may want to try instead of agressively losing weight is toning. You say you are already exercising, which is good, keep on a light aerobic exercise that will tone your legs and butt like the eliptical or a stairs machine, also try crunches to firm your stomach and light weights to tone your arms. Also, remember that exercise is only HALF the battle, the other half is eating well. There is no magic shake or atkins recipe that will make you lose weight, instead you should cut out all sugar and fat from your diet and eat more vegetables!

The next time you take him to his pediatrician, they can show you his growth curve. They use a graph to mark his growth (height and weight) at each annual physical. Then, you just continue the growth path up to the age of 18 and they can give you an estimate.

You can't tell yet way to soon. It depends on genes. How tall is mommy and daddy. Plus they haven't hit puberty that is when you will get a sense of how tall he will be. they get growth spurts
