Anyone call tell me how the marco mode works on my FZ30 Panasonic camera?

Hello there,
Not sure how it works on that particular camera, but Macros are all supposed to do the same thing. That is to get extrordinary detail at closeup range (within 1 foot or less). Try setting the camera in at close range of the object; you'll probably not be able to focus at this point, but do the best you can. Than activate the macro function. I think at this point it should just focus right in. Good luck
