the world would be half again as disorganized without half the species inflicting some sort of order then. A softening of the concept of discipline is degenerate and a mark of decadence.
Yes we live in an age now where such men are possible. But it is still up to the real men (and some good women now also) to ignore the ninny stuff and keep thier eyes out front for the big stuff.
Women are made of much more water than men and being intelligent and knowing this subject to much more sensitivity and trauma to little stuff. But in just being a human being and going through life perhaps women learn to balance this in themselves early on and accept this and have the potential to have a much keener discipline and coldness than men actually. A woman should not be assuming a man is afraid or masking his feelings. Perhaps a man is more typically stoic than a woman. Perhaps a man does not have as many outlets for severe situations to express himself because a woman is well practiced in her balancing of emotions on a regular basis...she feels extremes often.
But also with less range. His skin is the same density, but his bones are thicker and sensation trickles around him where a woman is virtually swimming through emotion to grip to present. Everyone is different. But generally speaking, this is what I see.
If men feel the need to not show thier emotions then the contrapositive might be 'Why do women feel the need to show thier emotions about everything?' (a lot of women try to act like everything bothers them and i wanna know why)

That's just how many men are wired. Women are more in tune with their emotions, and society makes it ok for women to be the emotional part of the male-female relationship. But men in society are looked on to be tough and not showing emotion, and many men are raised to never cry. But then again, this is not all men.

Male culture. That's how society expects them to be. Showing emotion is equated with weakness. Boys learn this at an early age. You get teased by your fellow guys if you break the unwritten rule in public. If you saw a guy crying wouldn't you think differently about it than if you saw a woman crying?
I think this taboo lessens more as a guy ages. Still, even for all the talk of the sensitive male, this is how it is.

Short answer is ego, long answer is an indepth psychological search for approval from others. If you ever point it out a man will also put up walls and will be a lot harder to understand, but you have to admit its better than a man who cries at the drop of a hat. Its what makes men and women different.

Emotions just makes everything in life complicated. So if we cut out the emotions, we can concentrate on the more important stuff like working so we can have money to pay the bills and feed the kids and buy our wife jewerly from Tiffany's.

The moment we do, you crush us like ant's under a meteor. It's also not considered manly to cry, and most of all there's a gay phobia that surrounds most men so they are unable to hug the same sex, only those of the oppisite. Therefore affection is always sexual in nature, not emotional.

Because traditionally, men have to go out and make a living and support a family. It is difficult to do this if you wear your emotions on your sleeve. We worry and care about things more than alot of women think we do, but it is in our nature to deal with things different than women do.

Men are taught not to show feelings, it’s our patriarchic society that has set these standards. It is really silly; it’s as sensible to saying that pink is a female color and black is a masculine color. Color has no sex and is not gender specific; it’s a good thing that Nancy Pelosi is speaker of the house! This might lead to some changes to this so called modern world.
