Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").

The Hoodia sold at http://tinyurl.com/y389on is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

Think about it this way: losing one pound is the equivalent of burning 3,500 more calories than you take in. 10 pounds would be 35,000 calories. On a 2,500 calorie/day baseline, that would be the equivalent of fasting completely for 14 days! So just drinking water won't have that drastic an effect.

Drinking water will still help though: it will speed your metabolism and reduce your appetite. Also if you drink *cold* water, your body will spend calories heating it up to body temperature (37 calories to warm one liter from 0 to body temp).

Anything that claims a 10 pound loss in a month is either wrong, starvation, or based on temporary water loss (which can easily fluctuate a few pounds a day plus or minus, but isn't permanent).

Maintain a healthy and active lifestyle, and concentrate on slow and steady improvement. Talk to a doctor if you have questions. -m

every person's body is built differently... and some may lose more some less... drinking water before eating decreases the amount of room you have to consume food.. therefore you eat less.. but you also need to eat healthier.. and exercise to melt the fat... HEALTHY dieting is never a one step process...

it depends. if you drink glasses of water, and still consume the same amount of calories... then losing weight isn't possible.
