Do you stay in delhi ? Do you visit the place often ? I think the best way to do so would be to come down and help homeless and street children .
If you are not an Indian ...do not venture out on your own before someone catches hold of you and slap molestation etc charges on you . there are lot of NGOs working on this side and they are always in need of funds. best bet would be to route your donations thru them. My wife works for OXFAM and they have done a brilliant job in the general upliftment of downtrodden. You can sit over the net and find out lot of these organizations seeking fund. Make sure they are registered and have affliation with international bodies and local government agencies !! Mother Teresa's 'Nirmal Hridaya" is another such wonderful place to donate your money !

why dont you try and visit some SOS situated in faridabad. actually in those SOS quite a few children are living whom you can support in various ways like financially (from any age group) and even morraly. you can even help them in other ways like you kow you can give them your time and do some teaching stuff or anything you can think of!
