I would like more body. After a day or two, all the body I have leaves it. My hair seems to like to be straight and can get oily kinda fast, but starts out very dry and body-filled (if that's a word, doubt it). I'm looking for something that will help my hair keep it's shape.

OK...conditioner for body...."black" hair u can try what the others say, however conditioner will moisturize "black" hair if you want body WRAP-IT. after you wash and condition your hair part it on one side and wrap-it around. Alot of people have a hard time doing it themselves especially trying to get the middle flat, you can go to a salon have them wrap-it. there are 2 types of wrap a wet and dry. You will know if it is a good wet wrap b-cuz it will be tight and flat to the head. When you come from the dryer and its combed out(salon or home) if you swing your hair it should wrap bak up(ofcourse w/ a little help). in the middle-top of your head you can put a roller in it(b4 the dryer) that will give you some volume (height)on top.
Dry wrap--its washed, conditioned and rollerset. under the dryer to dry, when thoroughly dry take out rollers and wrap-it around using large bobby-pins to hold hair in place as you go round. comb down when you are ready.
Which ever you choose remember to WRAP-IT bak up EVRYNITE use a satin or silk scarf to keep the body and wrap look. you should use Olive Oil Sheen. its in a tall green can-keeps hair shiny and oiled but doesn't weigh the hair down.

coconut oil darling.
then gently rinse it off and towel dry lightly. brush with a gentle bristle brush. it add shine to your hair too.
for hair body, a bottle of beer to wash it - once a week. you'll be surprise.
