None of them work. They may temporarily help you lose weight but when you are off of them, or your body builds up tolerance to them, then you gain it back.

Losing weight is not losing weight if you gain it back.

That’s what diet pills do, why do you think there is a new popular one every few months.
Now if you wonder if there are any good supplements and my answer is yes.
There are some supplements that you can take that can enhance a very healthy diet and fitness program and help you to stay committed to it.
7 Keto is an awesome metabolic enhancing compound that helps to reduce body weight and body fat by giving you more of a hormone that tells your thyroid to increase your metabolism. You may say wow, that’s what I need. No, the 7-Keto is all you need, not the other stuff. Yes but no, see the body can only take so much of it at a time before its eliminated by the blood and the rest becomes expensive urine. So you cant just take it alone, it must be part of a plan.

Hoodia by itself, not combined with other compounds, appears to affect the brain by making the stomach feel full and reducing the desire to eat.
Offers safe, caffeine-free, non-stimulant weight management support when used alone. It also may help in metabolizing fats.

Multivitamins - help you maintain the muscle that you have by providing nutrients your cells need. Understand if you don’t put enough nutrients in your body, you will lose muscle because your body will eat the muscle for those nutrients.

These supplements should be part of an overall lifestyle change, to a healthier one.

Diet Pills

In 1992, FDA banned 111 ingredients in over-the-counter (OTC) diet products--including amino acids, cellulose, and grapefruit extract--after manufacturers were unable to prove that they worked.

A number of products (Cal-Ban 3000, Cal-Lite 1000, Cal-Trim 5000, Perma Slim, Bodi Trim, Dictol 7 Plus, Medi Thin, Nature's Way, and East Indian Guar Gum) were also recalled because they posed serious health risks. The products contained guar gum, which supposedly swelled in the stomach to provide a feeling of fullness. However, the swelling from the guar gum caused blockages in the throat and stomach.

In February 1996, FDA also proposed new warning labels for OTC diet pills containing phenylpropanolamine (PPA), including the statement that the product is "For use by people 18 years of age and older."

PPA is an ingredient found not only in many OTC diet pills but also in cough-cold and allergy products as well. FDA is concerned PPA may possibly increase the risk of a type of stroke (hemorrhagic) caused by bleeding into the brain, as was suggested by some reports of bleeding in the brain among PPA users, typically young women. This possible risk could be further increased if a person took more than the recommended dose of PPA, which might occur inadvertently from also taking a cough-cold product with PPA.

While FDA agrees that studies have not shown a definite link between PPA and stroke, the agency believes data from a more comprehensive study are needed to confirm the ingredient's safety. As a result, the OTC drug industry began a five-year study in 1994.

Michael Weintraub, M.D, director of FDA's Office of Drug Evaluation V, says, "PPA is not recommended for use by teenagers also because they are still growing and if they suppress their appetite, they may not get proper nutrition." The author of studies on PPA published in scientific journals, Weintraub adds, "This is especially true of teens who don't need to lose weight but think that they do."

I actually saw on the news today that diet pills are no longer allowed to advertise because their claims to weight loss are bogus. The people in the ads doing the testimonials are always paid big bucks and their own weight loss is due to eating healthy and exercise. Diet pills can be very dangerous and bad for your body. Do it the natural way! Lots of hard work but worth it in the end. Also check out this website http://www.webmd.com , great resource for when you're dieting.

Many people ask me how they can slim down. I recommend that people eat right and exercise. However, if they would like a little "help", I suggest using natural Hoodia (it's important to note that not all Hoodia works well, even if the bottle says "pure" or "standard").

The Hoodia sold at http://tinyurl.com/y389on is in my opinion the best Hoodia on the market. It's pure, has no side effects, and they give you a free 15 day sample (there is a $7.99 shipping and handling charge, but they also give you free recipe and diet guides). Fantastic results have been seen with this particular Hoodia.

yes they do, but you need to be really careful about the ones you choose.

While ephedra has been banned, another supplement of choice has become green tea extract, which is a stimulant of the same nature as ephedra.

Remember that most diet pills are NOT FDA approved and it is definitely a situation of buyer beware. Heart palpitation and racing can occur and in many cases if overused death is a possibility.

As always, the best person to talk to is a nutritionist.

Most often the only category these pills work in is the "Making the Company Money" category :). Exercise and proper eating is how to lose weight and get into shape the fastest! Good luck! Hope this helps!

Almost all the pills will work, but you have to change the way you eat and exercise for the rest of your life or the weight will just come back on when you stop taking them.

I wouldn't do it. They are dangerous and costly. Check out this website I found that has a great plan. I have lost 23 pounds in the last 3 weeks and I couldn't be happier. I was also entered in a contest to win a pair of designer jeans and free makeup and skin care from Sephora. Trust me! I'm living proof.
