depends on if the expectations are realistic, and fair. if one has to change who they are and constantly jump through all these hoops just to keep someone happy than they may just be wanting to much of u, and sooner or later the person trying so hard to meet all these expectations will eventually give up and leave the relationship feeling used and drained.

You shouldn't live up to other people's expectations and let them love you for who you are. If they don't accept you for who you are, then you shouldn't care about what they think.
