Me and my boyfriend were trying, at least i thought we were, to work on our relationship. When I asked him what he wanted he said he didn't know what he wanted and that he loves me but is not in love with me. So then I tell him to stop calling me and telling me things he doesn't mean, but I did it in a nice way. He says he don't understand why i feel that way. I have to move on with my life. I can't keep wanting something that doesn't want me. So now he's assuming that it has to be another man, which isn't true. He thinks i'm in such a rush to be with somebody else but i don't understand if he doesn't want me whats the issue. We have a child together but a child doesn't make a relationship.

he said he is not inlove with you. that is the icing on the cake. move on. the signs are there don't ignore it. he is just playing games and wasting your time. bullshit remarks shouldn't flatter you. make sure you are getting your child support AND MOVE ON! This is a new year. start off right!

It's not you it's him he loves you and he knows it he just afraid of hold on to tight. he seems to be a one night stand type of person but he just took a liking to you your different special person he just you know how the saying goes he cant live with you and he can live with out you.he has a hard time letting go he just want you to say just say you need too know what you want or i am moving on OK and just leave because it not worth it to stay with a don't know what to do man.

Ive been in a similar situation your husband is in, and id just like to tell you from an unbiased point of view that the reason he is doing this is because he is torn between trying to protect you from what is out there (because he cares) & his lack of passion for you.
That you have a child with him makes it harder for him to let go as well.

He probably knows he has no right to tell you how to live your life and who to go out with but is having trouble letting go of the control and influence he had with you.

An alternative reason is he wants to "Have his cake and eat it too"

You should be able to decide which answer sounds most like your husband.

Good Luck.

M-Hmmm... Sounds like a dog; they pee on a tree so no other dogs take over it. But the tree ends up getting some other dog's urine on it anyway. Sick example but it makes sense doesn't it?

he does want u
but maybe he is just being selfish
if he doesnt want no one else to be with u
its cuz it hurts him
and that means he still loves u
maybe u need to scare him
and tell him that u r seeing some one else
that u need love or want to be loved
so u r seeing some one else
let him know that if he still wants to be with u
if not so u can look for love some where else
me and my fiance where on and off for 4 years
and now we r finnaly settled
at one point he was the same
