SO Many people in one place at one time....can't keep everyone happy there is always one sorry moose in the bunch.(one that will rock the boat)

Doesn't matter though....looking at and remembering the whole holiday....the good far out weights the bad.

That's what memories are made of....and what would Aunt Gertrude have to talk about for the next 6 months...if all went well.....lol...j/k don't have a Aunt Gertrude....

Disney sounds like fun....but teaching your children that family is important is more fun and what if you weren't around to teach them >> would they know your relatives.......teaching ties is important.

Best wishes

Have been there before.. my ex inlaws, of my second marriage, use to treat my son like a second class citizen, and their blood grandchildren like the walked on clouds... my son ended up graduating from a top college and neither of their grandchildren graduated from high school as it turned out. I dreaded Thanksgiving and Christmas around them.. yep in hind sight, I should have left town with my son for sure.

Great retort.......The holidays always bring up the BS in a lot of families.... People think of obligations to their family of origin , they believe they have to show up for the yearly visit, but really don't want to go...
holidays are for family but if you have to choose between peace and BS..Choose peace and have your hloiday with those who really care........
