So lets say he was God,
1. Why did he pray to himself? He called himself his own father?
2. Did God just left everything he had to do in universe and came among only Jews for all those years?
3. Why did he say "O God why have you forsaken me?"
4. Did God die for 3 days without the universe being destroyed?

All valid points. My favorite example is his baptism. When Jesus came up out of the water, God said from heaven,"This is my son, the beloved, whom I have approved." Then the holy spirit descended as a dove. This makes no sense unless they are seperate entities.
Just another thought.

Those are excellent questions and show you have more than most put some thought into it. Truth is revealed, never figured out. God is byond the comprehension of man and what we understand about him is revealed. He is One God, manifest in three postions simultaniously, as if able to do 3 jobs at once. The son of God is his flesh. When Almighty God became a man he transformed himself into the likeness of his own creation, but his spirit fills the universe. He is not linear as we think, he is omnipresent. When he cried out on the the cross it was his human nature crying out. When he prayed his flesh prayed to the spirit of the father in him, He said I and the Father are one. Also he said , If you have seen me you have seen the father. In the book of Revelation Jesus Christ is called the Almighty. When he died, his flesh died, he remained and still remains God very God. In like manner we have a spiritual mind and a physical mind. People cannot see the difference until they seek God thru Jesus Christ. There is always a counterfeit, which you find in the new age and gnostic view of things. However in the end, everyone knows Jesus is coming to judge the earth. Lord = Father / Jesus =son or flesh of God/ Christ = Holy Ghost, spirit of God. This is the true doctrine of the Eternal Godhead as taught by his Word. He is one LORD, manifest in three offices.

1. The trinity-- father, son and the holy spirit.
2. For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son so that no one would parish but have eternal life. God wanted a relationship with us (and loved us dearly) (Phillipians 2:6-11) that he made himself man humbled himself, was obediant until death so that every tongue would confess that Jesus is Lord to the Glory of God the father."
3. Jesus was a human example of how we should live our lives. As Christians, we are followers of how Jesus treated not only, the church, but people outside of the church as well. He said "God, why did you forsake me?", because at that point, Jesus bore all of our sins on that cross and there were so many sins we have committed that God could not look at his son the same way he did when he was not on that cross. God hates sin and that is what separates us from him. Jesus did on the cross so we could have the chance to recieve forgiveness of those sins as long as we accept and acknowlede him.
4. Phillipians 2:6-11 again says when he died he was reunited with God.

It's part of the trinity. Three parts of God; Three parts of an egg, to put it simplistically. So,

1. Jesus is part of God, and was talking to another part. Kind of like the Vice President talking to the president. (Although, yes, I know this kind of contradicts the "Jesus is God" part. You could say they are all the same in that all parts govern and equate it more to the Judicial, legislative, and executive brances of government: they are all government, but they perform different functions and need to communicate).

2. I don't really understand the question.

3. Back to the government answer

4. Also back to the government answer. If the judicial branch were cut off for 3 days, the whole country wouldn't be destroyed.

I sincerely hope I did not add to your confusion but an explaination of the Trinity is difficult for those who do not accept the totally awesome POWER of Almighty God. When Jesus was born, Jesus was a man, fully and fully empowered by Father God with the Holy Spirit. He was flesh and blood and totally commited to the plan of salvation instituted by Father God. Our Father in heaven loves us so much He was willing and perfectly capable of assuming human flesh in order to show us that love. I cannot explain why it was the best way but Father God can. Maybe I should ask Him that!

1) He prayed so that we would have a good example of how to address God. He is little like us so that we would not be overwhelmed by His Godliness, which must have happened alot whenever He healed someone. He aligned Himself with us in a mysterious way, and no one knows the answer to that, for no one knows God's thoughts.
2) No. God is really big. He is so big that it is mind-boggling. To be Jesus, and at the same time run the Universe is a tiny accomplishment for Him. To come amoung only Jews is defining human terms trying to encompass our differences. There are no differences like that in heaven. He came to be amoung us. That is all. Man woman, old young, rich poor, black white. No differences. To God, we are all worthy of His attention and love. YOu cannot define Him with human terms.
3) He was reciting a Psalm.
4) (see answer #2)

"You heard that I said to you, ‘I go away, and I will come to you.’ If you loved Me, you would have rejoiced, because I go to the Father; for the Father is greater than I,'" (John 14:28).

Jesus said the Father was greater than He not because Jesus is not God, but because Jesus was also a man and as a man he was in a lower position. He was ". . . made for a little while lower than the angels . . ." (Heb. 2:9). Also in Phil. 2:5-8, it says that Jesus "emptied Himself, taking the form of a bond-servant, and being made in the likeness of men . . ."
Jesus has two natures. Jesus was not denying that He was God. He was merely acknowledging the fact that He was also a man. Jesus is both God and man. As a man, he was in a lesser position than the Father. He had added to Himself human nature (Col. 2:9). He became a man to die for people.
A comparison can be found in the marriage relationship. Biblically, a husband is greater in position and authority than his wife. But, he is no different in nature and he is not better than she. They share the same nature, being human, and they work together by love.
So, Jesus was not denying that He was God. He was simply acknowledging that He was also a man and as a man, he was subject to the laws of God so that He might redeem those who were under the law; namely, sinners (Gal. 4:4-5).

Okay, God did not pray to himself. Jesus, prayed to God, who is his Father. I don't understand why, because it's terribly clear, but for some people the concept of God and Jesus being two different people just doesn't sound right. Jesus, died and resurrected...like I said, not God. I don't really know what forsaken means..but I'll look it up. And I don't get your second question. I tried. =)

one thing to answer all those questions the Trinity is a lie. the Bible proves it. there is one true God his name is Jehovah ( just like you and i have a name, so does He) He also has a Son, his name is Jesus, and the Holy Spirit is God's active force. Jesus came to the earth, not Jehovah as " no man can see God and yet live" (scripture, sorry cant remember where from. and hence God cannot die because He is eternal, Jesus died and was resurected by God

Whew! You got a lot there you want understand.
I'll do my best to try and help you.......

1) I see where you are coming from. Other on Yahoo Answers have asked similar questions...
This has to do with the Trinity. The great mystery of our faith. God in Three Persons. The Lord has revealed Himself in 3 ways to mankind. As The Father. As The Son. and as The Holy Spirit. All 3 are fully God and all 3 are the same God. Confused yet? I've been a Christrian for 14 years. It's not something you can wrap your brain around. It's something we accept by faith. Jesus is God The Son and while on the cross he is beckoning to God the Father. 2 seperate entities but yet the same. In any Jewish family order, the son has the same rights and power to lead the family as the father does. This is the relationship the Father and the Son are using here. Jesus refers to himself as equal to the father (John Chap 8) having the same rights to forgive sins, heal the sick, control nature......

2) a)No of course he didn't. God is "Omnipresent" meaning he is everywhere all the time. God is Jesus Christ and He is God the Father and He is the Holy Spirit. He is everywhere and sees everything.
b) Don't do what you're doing there in your mind and making it seem like the Jews were his "special pets" and He singled them out like a school teacher would single out her favorite pets. The scriptures were clear, "Salvation comes from the Jews". Mankind is lost in sin and we need salvation. God simply chose these stubborn headed and sometimes arrogant people as his means for bringing that salvation about. But he did not just hang around with only them. There are plenty of instances throughout the Gospels where Jesus healed people who were not Jewish. He even traveled across the Lake of Geresenes to the Decapolis(Ten greek cities) in Luke Chap 8. He cast a demon out of man and set him free.

3) OK, we need to understand the Jewish sacrificial system. The Old Testament way of sacrifice was to bring a pure white spotless lamb to the temple to be sacrificed for the sdins of your family for the past year. This lamd was to be without sickness and blemish. The sins of your family were in essence cast upon this lamb and the lamb was sacrified for your sins. Jesus is referreed to as the Lamb of God (by John the Baptist, John Chap 1). Jesus was to take the sins of the world upon himself and was to die so we might have forgiveness and be reckonciled to God. Sin has a "seperating" power to it. When there is sin between two people a wall goes up, a problem is made until it is resolved. Jesus was what resolved that problem for us with God. So, when Jesus takes our sins upon himself He has become sin for us. Thus he is now "seperated" from the Father.

4) Ok, i think you're alittle bit confused here. The universe was not going to be destroyed. Sin was going to be destroyed. As we said before God is everywhere. So while Jesus humanly died, God still lived and raised that body from the dead 3 days later. He did it this way since he referred to this in connection to the prophet Jonah (in the OT) being in the belly of the whale for 3 days. (Matthew Chap 12) He sets his own terms so to speak and says, "watch this, you think being dead one day is hard. 3 days and this body will be raised from the dead."

I hope that helps you somehow
