Hair Question???
To straighten my hair do I just take a straightener to it dry, or does my hair have to be wet? Also, is any product required to straighten my hair beside the straightener itself?

some straighteners say you can straighten them while your hair is wet, but i've never tried it b/c my hair is so thick! I usually blow dry it out as straight as possible then touch up with the straightener. another product that could help is going to a salon and getting a straightener put in your hair...like a perm, only it makes it straight! good luck!

Never flat iron it when it is wet, it is very damaging. First use some straightening cream while it is still damp and then blow dry it straight with a paddle brush. Next use a ceramic flat iron on small segments until you cover your whole head, making sure to brush in between straightening. That will give you the best results.

If you're using a straightening balm, your hair should be wet, air dry for awhile and then blow dried with a round brush when it's damp. If you mean a hair iron, your hair should be dry when using this or else you'll burn your hair.
