For poor circulation problems using a low Aspirin dosage (81 mg) may help because it thins the blood. Some brands to consider are St. Joseph Aspirin, and Bayer's Coated Daily Low Dose. Also try sleeping on your side. The upper back (shoulder blade areas) contain arteries / veins where blood travels down your arms to / from your fingers. Consult your physician, chiropractor, or nautropathic doctor for more information.

My finger tips started going numb and did this off and on for about a year. I saw a neurosurgeon and he found the problem was pinched nerve in my neck and also spurs. Had surgery and no problems since. Just a one day surgery and recovery was short.

Did you bruise them or slam them hard? If the pain continues to hurt you for another day, then see a doctor for x-rays--it might be a broken thumb. good luck!

Could be a Pinched Nerve. It could be carpal tunnel syndrome if you do repetitive movements alot-like typing.
