Hes a guy, Im 18, we dated and broke and I wonder since we are best friends and all, but Im wondering if its still okay that I spend the night at his place. I like sleeping next to someone at night, we arent having sex, and his bed is really comfy but sometimes it just doesnt seem like what a person would do with an ex. Is it okay to spend the night at a best friend's house whose a guy?

Sure, as long as neither of you might confuse it for meaning something more than it is. Maybe you should have a convo about it first.

You can spend the night, it's just not the best idea to share the bed if you don't want anything to happen. Old habits die hard LOL

It's okay. I think it is awesome you are still friends. Be thankful and don't let your pasts interfere with your friendship now. You are 18. You are allowed to have a sleep over with a male friend...why not.

I guess if your friends, it is okay to stay with him... but doesn't it seem like maybe your not totally moved on/scared to move on/ way to dependent on this relationship still? If your questioning yourself for staying there, it seems your questioning your motives for doing it. Maybe you need to think about your true feelings. Good luck.

I wouldn't, and I certainly would not share the same bed, OK?

My guess is that you're a very heavy sleeper, and that more is happening than you realize.

You may be killing him, but if you take mercy on him, just ask if he wants more than just sleep.

Why not? He's your friend, but please make the plan understood that you are spending the night, but no sex.
