I met her pops before,like only once, it was cool but that was a long time ago. I'm dating her daughter but her pops seem to be protective. I want to break that ice, like he could trust me. I am very friendly and I will surely take care of this girl. I really want him to trust me, but how? I might meet him soon too so what do I have to do to break that ice. I'm kinda shyish so....

Well dont showoff in front of him show urself to him as what u r. I mean ur actual beaviour in front of him, as he is protective n u love his daughter, not the false one. So that both parties u n her father judge u correctly.

Dont act afraid when talking to him. Be confident and dont hide anything. Dont be cocky though. Also act very restrained physically when you are with his daughter.
