Will I get caught for downloading movies and songs from Limewire? Any way to prevent from getting caught?
Please advise. thanks!

Yes, you can. RIAA does random searches just for the heck of it and then shoot those using LimeWire. Just kidding. No, you can't; the only thing RIAA (the Recording Industry Association of America, which protects copyrights of music, movies, and whatnot) can do is close down LimeWire- by proving LimeWire ENCOURAGES the illegal download of copyrighted material (so far LimeWire's winning). RIAA has absolutely no way to track you down and according to the fourth (or something) amendment of the Constitution, RIAA cannot conduct an unreasonable search of your home without a warrant. They WILL NOT SINGLE YOU OUT. THEY WILL, HOWEVER, IF YOU DOWNLOAD TERABYTES (1000 GBs) OF COPYRIGHTED INFORMATION. They're not looking for people who just downloaded a song or two just to hear it.

There are many people who get sued, no matter where you are. I would say that if you keep your downloading to a reasonable limit, aka, not thousands of songs / movies or whatever, you should be fine. The cops only go for people who have thousands, and tens of thousands of songs. But YES, people do get sued.

there is always the possibility that you will get caught, and you can prevent it by not breaking the law.
It's not that hard.....
