I have been in a relationship for over a year. We have had many stressful moments with outside issues both legal and financial from our exes. He has had several medical issues as well. He says he loves me. Spends most of his time with me. Is not really touchy feely or anything, but we communicate well. My children adore him as do I. He wants to get married and wants to do things the right way. I am a little afraid that I will end up bored in the bedroom so to speak. I was in an 18 year marriage and did not have multiple sexual partners prior to my marriage so I want to make sure this will be satisfying. Sexual intimacy is important and although not the basis of any partnership it has it's place and can cause problems if one partner is unhappy. Any interputation would be helpful.

if an adventurous and fulfilling sexual relationship is one of your priorities, you need to re-evaluate being with this guy. just because he's perfect on paper for your family doesnt mean he's necessarily the perfect one for you. and really, you're the one who will have to live with him for the rest of your life.

Tell your sweetheart what you've told the rest of the world here. Let him know what your concerns are. It's not like either of you are virgins anymore...if you open the dialogue with him lovingly and in a non-threatening manner (avoid ultimatums - men hate those!) I wouldn't be surprised if he let you take him out for a "test drive". Good Luck...guys need to know that us 35+ gals are in our prime and at our peak sexually.

If he is your boyfriend, you should be able to talk to him and tell him how you feel about it.
