They recieved paper telling them to leave the U.S. This was ordered by the courts. They left and when they got to their country they reported to the U.S. Embassy there. They want to know how long before they can come back for a visit to see their family which are U.S. citizens. I have their S.S# and Green Card # their Pa. drivers license # can you help direct me to find out if and when he can return for his family?

Although he self-deported and then reported correctly the date he left, he still can be barred from re-entering the US for years, depending on how long he was there illegally, or under what circumstances. It can be very complicated, but in fact he himself should know for how long he cannot be readmitted. The section of the Immigration and Nationality Act that pertains to people with similar problems is 212(A)(9):

This is one of the few situations in which I would strongly recommend that a person contact a good immigration attorney to find out what his options are.

How would we be able to answer this question without knowing why they were ordered to leave the country? That is the key to the answer here.

I think you must be carefull with this case, anything that you do in wrong way will do bad results for that people. In my opinion you must see a lawyer specialist in inmigration cases. I Higly recomend don't give information to anybody that is not that lawyer that can help you.

my best answer is to write your congressman or contact your local court house and there is never any harm in trying.
