ok i really like this guy but then he always makes fun of me saying im short n calling me chopstick arms him n his friends all make fun of me sometimes its jokingly but da first word tat comes outta his mouth is always an insult! grr he's called me ugly n everything he always laughs n it sounds like its a joke but im not sure if it is but da thing is whenever im talking 2 another guy hes always like eww gross stop flirting w/ each other or something like tat -.-"" lol XDD but then sometimes i ignore him n when i do he gets all serious faced after a while it kinda seems like he's jealous o.O tat really confuses me half of my friends say he likes me cuz they saw him staring at me half says he dont wat should i do n wat r da signs of him liking me? he can b such a jerk sometimes 2 -.-"" n i think he really means those insults but im not sure plz help o yea im only in 6th grade n hes in 7th XDD

you and the guy both are at awkward stages. the guy can't decide whether you have cooties or whether he wouldn't mind getting the cooties. if he acts jealous when you ignore him or talk to other guys, yeah, he might like you. but... if a guy should always respect you and not say anything mean to you. especially if he likes you. my closest guy friends, we tease each other... but it's never a question as to whether it's in fun or not.
it's sort of like the brother who says "I'M the only one allowed to make fun of my sister!" and takes care of anybody else who tries to be mean to her. i know my guy friends would be the first ones to back me up if anyone else tried to bother me.
if the guy says mean things you, and you really can't tell if he's teasing or not, don't have too high hopes for anything more than a casual friendship, if even that. a guy should work to be on your goodside. if you don't expect him to be nicer to you, he's not going to be. you have to have respect for yourself before he's going to take you seriously.

It sounds like he likes you for sure. Guys sometimes have a hard time showing their feelings.

he likes you, but he's too immature to tell you. get his screen name and talk to him online. if he doesnt stop making fun of you, wait until the boys your age are maturing. they will in a few years, i promise!
