What is Vander Ploeg means?

I would say: Van_der = of the Ploeg = team

Looks like "Ploeg" is Dutch for "Plow"...like plowing the ground. And "Vander" means "of the." So the whole meaning would be someone from the plow...or someone who plows. A garden worker.

I think "van" is a title, "der" means "of the", and you'll have to find "ploeg" on your own. (I wonder if it has anything to do with "plague"?)

It means Of the Plough.....they were probably originally farmers.
