All hail the pirate prophet!!!
You have cobbled one part of what Christ said. He said,
"Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way that leadeth to destruction, and many there be that go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, that leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it" -Matthew 7:13&14
The lesson in this is not that one group has any special claim to heaven, or that there is no chance of redemption OR even that salvation is unattainable for anyone. The lesson is that it is easy to not be saved, and that securing ones place in heaven is something that is not easy, BUT anyone can do, if they try hard.
It all comes down to which one you want to go in. No one gets a free pass.

I would have to say that if anyone thinks they are going to heaven because " I'm a good person etc etc." is in pretty bad shape. If you've studied religions, you can see that they all trace their afterlife to how well they've lived their lives. And if their good outweighs the bad, there in. Otherwise, they are on their way to hell. That is why true christianity seperates itself from all the others...its not about what we do here on earth, its about what Jesus Christ already did for us. The truth is, nobody deserves to go to heaven, thats why Jesus died for all.
Now to answer your first question...well, christianity is not intended to be a religion, it is a relationship with God. To an outsider, that may sound obsurd. But it is true. That is why on judgement day God will either say "away from me, i do not know you" or "well done, my friend". The truth is, if i knew i was going to hell and i was a christian, which i am, i would say forget it. Honestly, its a waste of time. In the bible, Paul himself says if the gospel which put him in chains and had him persecuted was false, then he is a fool. I am a believer because God promises eternal life in return, a life spent with my creator.
The bible does say "not everybody who says 'Lord, Lord" will enter the kingdom of heaven", but it is not ours to judge. And why does it matter what denomination your from? If you have a relationship with God, in time He will straighten your path to what is true.

Yes I would still be a good christian. Because of Jesus, I can always repent.
The reason why the Bible says that the road to heaven is narrow because it is a difficult road to stay on. The road being narrow is the reason for the phrase "Stay on the straight and narrow path".
The road to hell is wide, is because it is easier for a person to sin; after all we are only human. Since there are many ways to sin, the road is extra wide to accommodate the different choices that lead to sin.

if we were all going to die and go to Hell than none of us would be here there would be no purpose to being here my purpose as a christian saved by the blood of Jesus Christ is to spread the Gospel of Jesus Christ the reason I believe the way that i do is because it is the truth.i have found "holes" in other religions as where i havent found any in mine (because there isnt)it is sad that alot of people pick and choose from the Bible what they want we should look at the whole Bible even if it hurts our pride i cant say that i am perfect but i try to live by the whole Bible not just what makes me feel good or makes me comfortable but all of it i hope by answering your question you have some answers you are looking for.

Fear of retribution is a much greater incentive than the will to do good. Why do you think that there are "hellfire and brimstone" preachers? Nearly the entire religion of christianity is based on fear and I can pretty much guarantee someone will threaten you or me with damnation for even thinking... at all.
Fear also makes great advertising. Have you seen that series of automobile commercials where the camera views the inside of a car with people doing everyday things and all of a sudden WHAMO! there is a major accident.
The implied message:
Buy our vehicle and you will be safe(r) from this because we planned for it.
It's the exact same thing.

True, but first what does narrow mean? How can you say that each one of the denominations is correct yet still considered narrow because it is a path and not a destination. In logic you have to clearly state exactly what these things mean or your argument is fatally flawed.

Unless you are born again of the water and the spirit - you cannot enter the Kingdom of Heaven. Not all Christians are born again -
especially if you are infant baptized (some infant baptized Christians do read the Bible and get regenerated).

O' people what I fear most about you are two things - acting according to desires and extending of hopes. As regards acting according to desires, this prevents from truth; and as regards extending of hopes, it makes one forget the next world. You should know this world is moving rapidly and nothing has remained out of it except last particles like the dregs of a vessel which has been emptied by someone. Beware, the next world is advancing, and either of them has sons i.e. followers. You should become sons of the next world and not become sons of this world because on the Day of Judgement every son would cling to his mother. Today is the Day of action and there is no reckoning while tomorrow is the Day of reckoning but there would be no (opportunity for) action.
