why do girls always go back to the guy that broke their heart and give him a second chance? the girl realizes that he has "changed" and that makes it better again. that shouldnt happen. the guy hurt you and and you wanna get back to gether w/ him. it sounds like girls just wanna get their hearts broken.
So basically why do girls go back to the guy that broke their heart? i havent been able to figure this one out. give me some insight ladies.

amen to that. id never go back to the guy that broke my heart, and ya like he would change! but i guess the attractions that the girl felt for the heartbreaker never really dissipated, old attractions linger for a while, she isnt quite ready to leave him i guess. she thinks things can change.

Well I really cant answer it but i can give you my dilema which is simiar. My girl just broke my heart with no reason.She just decided to end it after5 years. her excse was she has grown apart from me. And she likes this new goth world. Well we broke up and it hurt man i rather get my balls hit with a baseball bat. At least i know it will heal. I can tell you this she yells at me cusses at me and so on. And for the whole world I would give anything to be back with her thus is hse came back i would give it another chance even though she hurt me real bad. I say its stupidity also need time off to see what else is out there and if you see no one treat you like you girl or man you try to find the best of him or her and fall back in with them. I say I am guilty of loving my girl so much that I cant see the truth of the evil which she is but I would do anything to be with her again. So i wait with arms wide open.

It's because you're hoping they really have changed, some people really do change their ways for the chance to be together again. Once you talk about how the problems in the first shot of your relationship are going to be fixed it seems like it'll work out again.

Coming from a girl. We always want to go back to the guy that hurt us because we want and hope that things between us can and do change.
Unfortunaily it doesn't always happen. Plus if the guy has treated us bad and we meet a truly nice guy. We feel that we deserve to be treated badly.
It comes from experience. It's taken me almost 5 years to act that Idon't deserve to be treated like dirt or a door mat that gets walked on.
I've realized that I deserve to be treated with Love and Respect and that my feelings and opnions do count.

I think it's a couple of reasons girls think they can change the person they are with. example: If I do this then he will love me and won't cheat etc. I also think girls want to see the best in people example: well he bought me flowers. See he's a good guy etc

one of two reasons
1. they truely cared for this person and it shocked them that their heart was broke. they are just haveing a hard time letting go and wish things had worked out. so they try again
2. they never really cared to begin with. it just hurt not to be wanted. and they will take whatever they can get.

they just loved the wrong guy too much..
my sis also went back to her previous boyfriend once despite the fact that he was abusive towards her whenever they fought...but he was just good in sweet-talking her back to his side. and after one incident, it finally knocked some sense into her and she realised that she could nv love this guy again..
girls are easily humored by sweet talks..that's why they ALWAYS go back to the ones that have broken their hearts.

i've forgiven my bf before after he broke my heart...and i forgave him because i still love him. and because i give in really easily.
When you love someone so much..sometimes..you feel as if u can forgive them for any of their flaws..and sometimes you just feel as if you want to be with them. then you start thinking...
just because he broke it once doesn't mean he'll break it again...at least that's wut i think...sometimes they don't mean to break ur heart...so why not give them a second chance? Plus...not all guys break it again...some smart guys actually learn after losing something they treasured...some guys just dont' learn at all.
And the thing is..say u broke up with someone...and ur hurt...and u miss them...and they ask for u to come back to them...wouldn't u think it's insane to say no..and hurt urself? what u really want is to be with them...so why not..give it a second chance.
Also..sometimes...i feel as if i dont' want to give up hope yet...but then mayb after a second time of failing...(if it does fail again)...i'll be more determined to move on...it'll be more obvious to me that he's not for me...and that i need to move on.
that's wut happened in my case...my bf and i just broke up four months ago...and now..i feel a little stronger in my attempt to move on...it's as if...we need to feel assured that the relationship won't work...then u can let go...it's easier that way.

they think they changed but they didnt. NO ONE changes.. PROOF> tho I would NEVER give someone a 2nd chance. if they messed up 1st chance then there no way there goina be different this time. maybe at first......

Because the girl wants to believe that she is SOOOOO special and the guy loves her SOOOOO much, that he would be willing to change for her (and no one else!).
