Why can't people lick their elbows?

I never really thought about it, but you are right. You can't lick your elbows. It might be because the bones in our arms won't bend enough to allow us to do this.

I would guess that the reason is either because our tongues are too short or our arms are not flexable enough. Maybe the real reason is to protect us from ourselves. have you ever tasted an elbow? Maybe they are absolutely discusting.
