I would say it's a good thing as long as they didn't use the word naive. If I were you I would stay innocent as long as possible, there isn't enough innocence in the world today.

I tend to get called that a lot, it's really strange.
I must be a very good actress.
It's a compliment in today's world, even though many don't see it that way. Some consider it naivety, but it's a good thing. Trust me.
