What is the best small block Oldsmobile made? I have been recently looking for a 403 but was unable to find one. So now I'm looking for a olds 350 for my 1988 olds cutlass supreme. If any one know where to get a 403 to fit my olds email me at hatti_sloan@yahoo.com

the 305 engine will be the best replacement for your car-- if that won't make you happy then you need to go to a ""engine rebuilder"" and get some thoughts and help from that shop...those folks can tell you if the engine wires can mate-up and what has to be done to swap engines.... sometimes the parts dude at a junk yard will know what will fit ---it ain't easy to get all the right answers .... the guys at the ""auto supply store"" often can be a lot of help.......go and ask ((it's free info)) ..good luck/////////////////

i mechanic for a living,,and id try a good salvage yard for a good used 350, you should be able to find a good used one for it,,there's a lot of salvage yards around ,and I'm sure one of them has a good 350 to fit it,,good luck hope this help,s,,if they don't have one,,they can locate you a good one.
