If she has a certain place in the house she feels comfortable she will probably start having them on her own. Don't be alarmed nature has it way believe me dogs know for some strange reason how to take care of them. Watch out for heavy spoting (blood). Good luck and enjoy!!!

about a week before she goes into labor she will start nesting(tryin to go into small places such as closets and corners)....u will know she is in labor when she start yelpin a little or gruntin....and looks like she is going to poop...(not tryin to gross u out)....plus the dog will be pregnent for about 60-70 days......good hint thought.....when the pups r born and one isn't breathing....wrap it in a towel and rub it then put it in the air in the towel and jerk it down(sounds crazy and stupid but it works....just be sure that u have a good hold on it)

She will start to pant and begin defecating frequently. She may become restless and head toward a safe "den" area to have her pups
