I am a Christian and I think science is VERY important. You wouldn't be spouting your ignorance on the computer with your electricity in your nice heated house without it!

edit: and where did God come from? Something came from nothing at some point, whether it was man or God.

First off, there is no such thing as a godless heathen. Do you even know what a Heathen is? We are polytheists, we have more gods then you!

Secondly, What I can't understand is why Christians continue to say that evolution is faith because you believe that something (us) came from nothing. The nothing is believing in a god that supposedly existed forever. What's really worse, believing that the universe is self made or believing that some magical being made it? No evolutionist claims that the universe was made by nothing. But plenty of believers simply say "God always was." Ok, so why can't that same logic apply to the universe?

I know right I don't understand it at all! hay this is what messes me up they have not yet found a cure for cancer nor HIV nor Arthritis and this is a shame really and you know what they are into messing with the spines and brain and this is why all the pain medication come bombarding us all day long on the commercial you may not believe this but the doctors and the scientist are not to stop the disease but to treat and diagnose them!
Also scientist are responsible for much of destruction and chaos! Tell me how is it hunger and water is still a huge problem and finding ways to stop Wars you know they think they are Godlike to the heathens i want to see them all heathens and scientist show me a miracle!

because you gullible gullible little simpleton religion was orignaly science.

all the people who we see as greats of mathmatics and science (well almost all) were trying to use science to prove god was REAL. Blaise Pascel was one of the greatest mathmatitions in history and his goal in life was to use his knowledge of mathmatics to prove god was real. Sir Issac Newton whom without you would most likely be stupified beyond belief because you would be looking for the angels who hold your ankels so you stay on the ground was a devout christian and many of his scientific theories were based upon his religion.

also

religion as you should know is based on stories older than writin language. all religions. the old testement is stories written down by people from many many many (1000's of) years ago and those stories were oral tradition untill someone had the idea to write them down. these stories were not written by god himself and were not written by the first humans. you know that when a story is told over and over parts change and they become exagerrated. this is how the old testement was written up. people from even longer ago (way before the writers were the tellers) the tellers didnt have any idea of how things worked so they came up with something that sounded plausible. thats how science works now you have a theory and test it using logic and experements. so overall religion is just very very very old science. so if your a religious fanatic then you are just a very outdated scientist. so if you badmouth science you may as well just live in a windowless room alone and eat nothing but salami because you are a hippocrit just like Hitler was

Because it cured my hernia.

I'm a believer in God and Jesus and the only thing my prayers did for my buldging hernia was get me a good surgeon. A very good surgeon. But scienc, and his science was high, played a major part. No sutures, small scar, modern methods. I've seen others who got surgery after me with other doctors who had Frankenstein scars. So God took care of me by getting me a very good scientist.

If you don't think science is important, sell your computer, your car. Don't use a lightbulb, a television, a telephone.Go live in a cave. Otherwise you agree with the godless heathens

Well...without science...we wouldn't have any medicine, probably no computers (so you couldn't be asking this question), we wouldn't know why to take baths or keep things clean, because we wouldn't know about grems....there are a million reasons why science is important...but like all things it has it's place and importance.

Don't judge people just because they judge you...It doesn't prove anything and the only reason they do it...is because you react to it...which is why you did this...so you'd get mad reactions form them....

WHY can't we all just agree to disagree?!

The wisdom of man is foolishness to God. I have no idea why they think that they are Soooooooo smart. Usually the longer a person lives the more they find out that they don't know. i guess there must be a lot of youngsters on here.....live and learn..

If science isn't important, why are you on the internet? Or even own a computer or running water for that matter?
