mate if your talking Sportage your talking about a Kia and they I think are the best Kia produced, I am assuming you are looking at the manual version, these I feel are abit higher than a Subaru Forrester and with dual range installed they aren't overall to bad....I haven't ever seen major problems with the sportage but just remember its a soft off roader not for major work like a Patrol or Landcrusier.....I would take a look and if you like it buy it it shouldn't give you to many issues overall and parts if needed are cheap and the same goes with the insurance on them.

best of luck
Mitch

I'v never heard of a Hyundai Sportage. I've heard of a Kia Sportage, and they suck. My sister used to have one, and it wasn't nothing but problems. I have also heard of a Hyundai Santa Fe, and I think that they are good cars. Pretty much everything Hyundai makes is good quality. I don't know excactly what car you are asking about, but I hope this helps.

I would check out a couple of sources b4 I purchase that vehicle. For one the miles seems kind of high. Go to www.nada.com and www.kbb.com and do some checking for your self. I am a car salesman and on my lot right now I have a 2002 Sportage 4X4 with only 28,000 miles that you can purchase for $8995.00 so 9 grand for one with 150k on it seems like not such a good deal. If you want to see the one that I have go to www.dedodge.com and go to our used car inventory and take a peak for yourself. Feel free to contact me, you can reach me thru our web site. My name is Aaron, so if you are willing to spend 9 grand on one, why not spend 9 grand on one with 130,000 less miles. Good luck. Adub

we've a Kia Optima (2002), Kia Rio (2000) and the Kia that sounds like a jag. and that they are all stable. i like my kia. good gasoline milage (28 mpg on the 4 cylinder Optima city). only shop up with oil differences and you'd be nice. BTW, each and all of the autos have over a hundred,000 miles

a hyundia with 150,000 on it for 9,000? you can buy a honda crv with alot less miles and cheaper. hyundia's are good cars, just have no resale value. i would look for a honda as they will retain there value better and last longer
