Never heard of Magic Hat #9. To replicate the taste you need to know this information at the minumum:
-The grains
-The type of hops and preferably the hop cycle. Hops are put into the wort at certain times for taste and aroma.

There are too many variables to copy a exact brand. The fun part of home brewing is making something new. Something that you cant buy on the shelf.

There is a book out there that gives you recipe ideas for "cloning" some of the more popular brands/brews out there. I think the name of it is "Clone Brews". If you have some decent experience in home brewing, you should be able to make some. They're not perfect, but they come out pretty well.
