sure, very healthful! How a lot...i do not understand if there's a particular optimal quantity, inspite of the indisputable fact that this is troublesome to devour too many. i understand the sphere you're speaking about, and this is okay to devour that complete field in an afternoon. you want form on your weight-loss plan it truly is all. once you're eating a good number of different issues too like vegetables etc. then inspite of you experience like eating is one in each of the right volume. yet you shouldn't get Planters sort, they upload cottonseed oil it truly is likely GMO. both get a sort that do not have GMO's, or extra effective yet, purchase them contained in the shell. also, there's a such component as too many Brazil nuts (the massive ones that come contained in the hardest shells) because they have a lot selenium (it truly is powerful yet not in extra). you shouldn't devour more suitable than 2 an afternoon. (yet with the different nuts you do not ought to keep count number.) And yet another component you may devour for protein is beans. complete grains too (that you in all likelihood already devour). Even vegetables have a good quantity. this is really basic to get protein as a vegetarian.

don't listen to the above guy. he's obviously clueless on proper nutrition principles. nuts are a healthy food due to:

- their good fat content, which can reduce your risk of heart disease
- fiber, which will slow down your digestion and limit insulin release (which in turn will make you store less fat)
- both of those things will help you feel full for longer, which will prevent you from binge eating
- there's also lots of vitamins and minerals in nuts

now, as for the salt, as long as it's limited to about 200mg per serving, i think it'll be ok. just keep in mind that too much salt will raise your blood pressure. and of course, like anything, only eat nuts in moderation (about a small handful or 1 ounce).

Some nuts are better for you then others. Almonds are good for you. Cashews are my favorite, but not nearly as healthy. They are a fatter nut. They vary a bit from each other but compared to other snacks they are good.

Nuts are a good snack choice for people who have problems with their blood sugar, such as hypoglycemia and diabetics.

No. Nuts are very fattening. Chock-a-block full of calories, in fact. Yes, there is some nutritional content there (like selenium in walnuts, for example) but you could obtain the same nutrition eating foods containing FAR fewer calories. I would consider consuming salted nuts a pleasurable and DECADENT TREAT (very different from a "snack"). A "snack" food would be an apple, a small yoghurt, carrot sticks, etc.

Don't know what I'm talking about, hey? Check out the calories in 100 grams of fat: NO SALT ADDED!

Healthwatch: "Keep Cheese And Nuts In Check"
Mar. 7, 2001

(CBS) Steering clear of sweets and fatty fried foods can help keep your weight down but snacking on cheese and nuts can sabotage any diet, Paul Moniz reports…
before you get to the nuts, another pound packer.

"I think it's worse, because you tend to have nuts in bowls," Drayer says. "People just grab the nuts."

Most people are unaware the proper serving size for nuts is only a quarter of a cup, which works out to a measly 10 macadamia nuts for a whopping 220 calories and 22 grams of fat.

Even so-called healthy sunflower kernels have 170 calories and 15 fat grams per serving size, but few of us stop there.

"Before you know it, you've consumed 500 or 1,000 calories just from nuts if you keep putting your hands in the bowl," Drayer says.

The best way to enjoy cheese and nuts without gaining weight is to watch portion sizes and to make leaner choices: Not all nuts and cheeses are created equal….
… As for nuts, all are high in monounsaturated fat… but almonds…have less fat,…

As long as you stay away from the honey roasted...you might as well eat a candy bar. I've also heard that just plain roasted is bad, but I've never seen proof of that.
