Right, I was just laying down... Waiting for my mom to get off the computer..I'll admit it I'm a little bit on the concieded side.. I was checking out my body and noticed that one side of my rib cage was higher than the other.. Does this mean I have Scoliosis?

There are several different "warning signs" to look for to help determine if you or someone you love has scoliosis. Should you notice any one or more of these signs, you should schedule an exam with a doctor.

Shoulders are different heights – one shoulder blade is more prominent than the other
Head is not centered directly above the pelvis
Appearance of a raised, prominent hip
Rib cages are at different heights
Uneven waist
Changes in look or texture of skin overlying the spine (dimples, hairy patches, color changes)
Leaning of entire body to one side

you should go to the doctor to have it checked out.
my brother never thought he had scoliosis until one day he had his shirt off and was looking in the trunk of his car for something when my mom noticed that one of his shoulders was slightly higher than the other. She took him to the doctor and he had to have a brace made to correct his rib cage to. My brother is a kind of stubborn person and didnt want to wear the brace because he thought it was too bulky so he had to end up haveing the SURGERY. He now has a steel rod and pins in his back that keep his spine straight. The rod actually added about 3 inches to his height! This was about 3 years ago.

So get it checked out. It might seem minimal but better safe than sorry.
