Why are men so good at phoning a girl when she acts disinterested and then when she finally admits that she is attracted to him and begins calling him she finds herself just getting blown off for her troubles? I know that perhaps some women are guilty of the same thing, but really... Do they just want us to play hard to get forever?

Sorry, I didn't mean to give the wrong impression. Perhaps rather than say "act disinterested" I should have clarified that there's often a point at which a girl isn't sure whether or not she's ready to accept a guy's advances. And the more he calls, sometimes the more she questions it. Many girls find that when they do give in the guy stops calling. I did not mean to imply dishonesty.

Some just like the thrill of the chase. They want girls to play games with them. Once they are "in" they don't want to sit on the phone with you listening to your b*tching and moaning about your terrible life. Why would they want to sit and listen to how the girl at your work ticked you off today, when they could be out chasing another piece of tail?
If you want a guy to take you seriously, you need to find one who is a little more grown up and ready for serious.

Men are unsure of what woman are thinking & best put by my fiance, she doesnt ever know what shes thinking. You change your minds at a blink of a eye and maybe after you telling him you like him, you sorta put him off and he wasnt expecting it or he was just after the chase as ppl say and the hunt was over with you revealing you liked him, yes we're confusing but so are women. Guess its just how things are, otherwise no1 would want anyone if we all knew what we were thinking

That's what happens if someones given the run around.
Don't forget, research has shown that women loose interest in a relationship after 4 years.

Simply there is no one single answer to this very much wondered about situation.......But I can simplify and perhaps make a generalised comment.......The fact is men get bored...bored with their Jobs, kid,s cars and women......like young boys and brand new action figures over their older ones....sadly this is true of men and girlfriends....and you deserve a man who is gonna offer his full attention and support..... he is out there just keep searching Babe....us descent men are often let down or rejected...I'm too damn lovely

Men loveand need the challenge !!.........they need the thrill of the chase, they need to be the winner!!....they have by nature, a NEED to be competative, to hunt and WIN!! Its an ego thing. Its the win they need then its on to the next challenge. Its the ones that hunt and stay that are worth worrying about, as for the rest?....better off without them.

Well if women weren't so hard for us guys to figure out maybe things would be easier for the both of us. Its the devils fault.

the chase is fun for a bloke, but when we catch the girl its a case of `been there, done that'

but not with me coz i know the next time i fall in love it will be forever. You do believe me, dont you?

Well, if you act too disinterested for too long, you will gradually turn him off you but he will just want to prove he can capture you.

The guy was actually interested in you until you blew him off for too long. Now he's moved on to someone else. It happens to everyone.

Sounds like you are both playing games. Get on with it and then chuck each other up when the time comes.
