The aforementioned ESPNZone in Times Square and Jekyll and Hyde at 57th and 6th are good picks. Serendipity3 isn't much of a theme restaurant. There's also the Bubba Gump Shrimp Co. a restaurant themed to Forrest Gump. Food's usually better than most theme restaurants and it's right next door to the Hard Rock. Also, Planet Hollywood is in Times Square. American Girl Place has a cafe on the third floor of their store at 55th and 5th. For a Yankees tilt, check out Mickey Mantle's on Central Park South. For a more subtle theme, Brooklyn USA Diner on 57th or their new location in Times Square is cool just don't eat the footlong dog. Also, there's a Johnny Rocket's on 8th Street.
On a lower note, there's the Trailer Park Lounge on 23rd between 7th and 8th. It's a little place all decked out in 50s and 60s memorabilia with even a screen door on the front. Also, Peanut Butter and Co. on Sullivan in the Village serves mostly Peanut butter dishes with old peanut butter ads on the walls. It's a really tiny lunch spot though. There's also Lips, a drag restaurant on Bank Street in the West Village where all the servers are drag queens. Lastly, Telephone Bar and Grill at 149 Second Avenue has a British theme throughout.
There also used to be the Motown Cafe on 57th and the All-Star Cafe in Times Square but went out of business years ago.

became there at one in MD. Hated it. provider became poor. value became such as a Chili's, and so on. humorous because of the fact i'm a GM for a countrywide chain. entertainment became cool, however the hostess sat us the place their became no server and as quickly as we finally have been given one, it became terrible. food became very conventional. We had 4 human beings and without alcohol and a appetizer i think the invoice became around $sixty 8 and we did not stay for dessert. good success. BTW, we did stay and play some video games and we each have been given a $10 game card. Least that area became relaxing.

No, that's it. Thirty million people and three restaurants. The lines are awful.
Seriously, there are restaurants on every corner in NY. Only tourists go to those three.

ESPNzone in Times Square is one. Pretty fun place, even if you're not a sports nut. The upstairs is an arcade.
