why do guys (and i know girls do to) cheat on their gf's? like why cant you at least break up with your current and go for the new one..i know that is harsh to but..isnt it at least a lil better than cheating? my one friend just found out the her bf has been cheating on her....is there really any logical reasoning for it? i dont think so..but of course i have been wrong before!

Cheating is a Temptation not a real feeling. Its lust not love. It's the need to feel wanted by some one, other then some one who has always wanted you. There is no Logical reason what so ever. Cheating is also a form of iresponsability. Its being unable to control your hormones..unless the person your with is not showing you the right love but you want to hold on just incase things get better. Honestly cheating is not right, and there is no law banning it. And its done so often its a fact of life now.
-But im AGAINST cheating..

There is logical reasoning...the guy thinks he will get away with it so why not "double the pleasure".
I agree with you. I rather just break up or not even start the relationship to begin with than be a cheater. However, it always seem that the girl doesn't appreciate my honesty. Oh well, they might hate me but I would still be at peace with my conscience.

I don't approve of that behavior either. But there's a proverb that goes "Don't throw away the old bucket until you're sure the new one holds water." Maybe people are applying that logic in the wrong places. Good night!

I don't think theres one accurate answer.But it sucks doesn't it.Nothing worse than being betrayed.Ive had guys tell me that they can still love their wife and have sex with someone else-i don't buy it but who knows.Sometimes I think its like the response above.Wanting to see which is better, sometimes i think that the betrayer just doesn't love the person their with but haven't dumped them yet.Sometimes some people are so insecure that ANY attention from the opposite sex makes them feel better.(but that's a temporary feel better).Don't think your going to solve this life long problem.Just be true to yourself and never add to the statistics.

i think guys cheat because there only out for one thing and there greedy because they dont realize a womens worth unless they go to prison and then theres no women... i have cheat on mah girl b4 im lez and i did it because i was hurt from her cheating on me but i felt afterwards and i never did it again, some ppl do it just to see whats its like out of curiousity because when they see somone having 3 gfs there thinkin damn thats tight i should try it, or anger, or just greed....

A lot of it is out of selfish - ness I think. Seems like I've found out a lot of men I've been with have cheated on me.

I think we guys are taught to " do it " to as many and as much as possible. Doin #1 without # 2 knowing, and then doin# 2 without # 1 knowing, is just ego, sense of adventure etc. and of course " I'll NEVER get caught." You always do, or somebody tells etc.

Insecurity on the cheater's part. They're afraid of being alone for any length of time and as such, they "try out" other people while they're still w/their current crush.

they probably don't want to hurt your feelings by breaking up with you in the first place, so they think they are sneaky enough to hide it, but they aren't. then the reason why they cheat is prob. b/c they aren't satisfied with you and your not "pleasing" them enough.
