The passage from Galatians 6 is a wonderful picture of a soldier with armor on.
Each piece of armor had it's purpose.
Having our feet shod with the Gospel of Peace means that our purpose is protected where ever we take the Gospel. If the Gospel is not our motivation for traveling, then our feet are unprotected.
What's the best way to incapacitate a foot soldier?
Trip him up, and get him off his feet. (think "land mine")

Galatians 6:15 For in Christ Jesus neither circumcision availeth any thing, nor uncircumcision, but a new creature.
And as to those who have truly believed in Christ Jesus, all things are counted as utterly worthless compared with him. There is a new creation; old things are passed away, and new views and dispositions are brought in under the regenerating influences of God the Holy Spirit. Believers are brought into a new world, and being created in Christ Jesus unto good works, are formed to a life of holiness. It is a change of mind and heart, whereby we are enabled to believe in the Lord Jesus, and to live to God; and where this inward, practical religion is wanting, outward professions, or names, will never stand in any stead

because of the fact of her wicked condition (Isa_59:2-15), no person however the Lord might desire to save the rustic. Being displeased together with her injustice, He found available replaced into no person to intercede on her behalf. Isaiah replaced into not asserting that the Lord did not opt for to get entangled, yet that Israel replaced into completely incapable of assisting herself. in undemanding terms God might desire to help her. it is real of salvation in any era. no you will save himself. in undemanding terms God can forgive sin and alter someone’s heart. And questioned - it is language tailored to the mode of conversing between adult men. It can't be taken actually, as though God replaced into surprised by without warning coming to the certainty of this actuality. that's designed to specific, with great emphasis, the reality, that there replaced into no person to intercede, and that the wicked international replaced into mendacity in a helpless condition. And questioned that there replaced into no intercessor; to stand up, and pray for them, because of the fact the Targum; so it style of feels a spirit of prayer and supplication would be a great deal desiring interior the situations of latter day darkness, and earlier latter day glory breaks out: or, "that there replaced into no interposer" (h); none to look on the part of actuality and justice, and on the behalf of people who grow to be a prey to others. "ask your self" is right here ascribed to God by an anthropopathy, after the form of adult men, as being a marvellous and staggering element, and distinctly much staggering, that none might desire to be modern in so stable a reason, and taking the portion of injured actuality and righteousness; and it expresses the final corruption and sickness of religion in those situations; and exhibits that it is not for the goodness of adult men, or their advantages, that the Lord will do what's next pronounced he did: Shalom, John M

I think the main purpose of this Yahoo question thing is for you to ask questions that you want to know ...questions that are really bothering you in life... not to advertise for a religion or ask us something that you already know the answer for.

to me it means to be ready to walk where we need to walk- to have your feet shod means to be ready to go- it means taking action, beinging the peace that God had given you where there is a need for peace.
