Yes, at 16 you are still a minor...the 20 year old is an adult and it is against the law for an adult to have sex with a minor whether it is consentual or not. 16 is too young for sex anyway as you are deffinately not financially prepared for ALL of the consequences unless you're Paris Hilton or Ivanka Trump and you are bar far certainly not emotionally prepared.

Even though you're at the age of legal consent in most states, the age difference is too great. At 16, you aren't nearly equipped to handle the emotional aspects of a sexual relationship. There is so much more than just having sex itself. What will you do if your partner becomes pregnant? How do you know she's actually using birth control, whether shes says she is or not ... how do you really know? What do your parents think of the age difference? Do your parents even know about her? Where can you really go in public where you won't looked at as just a 'kid'? ... after all, you really are! Has she met your parents? What do you have in common with her ... other than the sex? Do you share the same interests? I doubt it! You better think about the relationship rather than the sex ... where are you going with it? You're making a mistake to get involved!

i think u can decided when to have sex at any age. i mean we have girls pregnant in the 5th grade. but the big thing is, not abt what age is right.. its about your feelings. do you love each other? or is it just for sex? if you love eachother then i would go ahead its just an additional fun to the love. however, i would make sure neither of u have diseases first if either has had previous partners. also use protection. no 16 yr old girl wants to go into school pregnant working 2 jobs full time going to school and raising a child. the worst part: u have to tell ur mom. so dont b silly cover his willy.

well by age sixteen your able to make decisions that may effect the rest of your life forever. Like staying in school, its all up to you if you want to drop out. At 16 you should be able to know the consequences of unprotected sex and the risks of having sex if protected as well. Its up to you becuase in the end its your life, you live it, your the player of your own game. So yes you should be able to make the desicion on whether you want to have sex even if its a 20 year old because you have the background knowledge on its effects, so therefore your able to make a logical decision because you can look at both sides the positives and the negitives, the effects it has on you and this man later in life. All i say is i hope you make the right decision and wont regret it later.

no your not to young to decide weather or not you to young at that age but if you decide to have sex make sure you know what you are getting your self into. know that there is always a risk of becoming pregnant. and what ever partner you decide to sleep with you are sleeping with all the people that they have ever slept with in there past. and with all the sexually transmitted diseases that are out there be careful. if you think your old enough to make the decision then make sure you are old enofe to take care of the many possible out cums that are the result of having sex. go to a family clinic and talk to a doctor about all the possibilities and different kind of birth control that are out there. and most important advice i can give to you make sure that the person that you deiced to give it up to you really care about cus once you lose it you can not get it back and make sure any person you deiced to have sex with you can live with for the next 18 years cus of the chance of a Minny you cumming out in 10 months. hope you make the right decision and don't have sex tell you know you are ready.

First off ur only 16, please wait. and he's 20, he will go to jail. secondly, are u ready for the possible consquence's of having sex? i'm talking about maybe becoming pregnate at age 16?! or catching a STD or HIV. ur so young, u shouldn't be thinking about that stuff yet, ur in like 9th-10th grade. u should be going through fashion magazines, not hookin up with older men, or any guy.

yeah that's too big a spread in age - at that age range - if you guys were 5 yrs older, it would be different
personal development - physical & psychological - comes in stages
you're in a transitional stage and he is on the other side of the transition, he should be screwing girls / women his own age or even a year or two older than him, you should look for guys closer to your age - you'll be less pressured for sex - the older guys are gonna expect it more

Isn't that a form of rape? Your a minor and your guy would not be? If it is illegal in your country/state then no 16 is not old enough.
