Dan,

I went from being a $12k/yr sailor with my wife to being MORE than sufficient income for our family. After 22 years the gifts got bigger and I thoguht better. Last year I gave her a new Yukon loaded and upgraded her diamond to a carat. Am I bragging? No my friend, we are now 5 months separated and I really want to be back maried again.

The best gift I ever gave was a wood clock kit I bought from a hobby store that I laminated our wedding picture in the center and around the dial had small pictures of us together (12 pix), then coated it with that clear coat pulyurethane. I did it cuz I was tight on cash and I think it cost maybe $15 but took me a week to put it all together. She still keeps that by her desk runnin like champ.

Sometimes it is the sentiment that is priceless. I really do not think she likes the Yukon and obviously, if she does not come to joint counselling the ring will go to my daughter or the trash.

I wish you well, many congrats on year 1!!! The old Cliche about, "never go to bed mad" is OH so true! Allways remember that spending money is easier than spending as much TIME as possible together! Spend time together like it were lottery money!
