worship and love god, and then say that we were all given the choice not to. Does that really make sense? If you create something to function in a certain way and it doesn't, who or what is at fault, the creation, or the creator?

To Randy G, I didn't say that it was written any where that we were all created to love and worship god. That was the response of several Christians that answered my first question. You have shown your true face by attacking me rather then my question. I accept that though since it happens quite frequently when debating the intentions of god with those that think they have him all to them selves.

Who said that we were all created to worship God? We were created for his pleasure & glory. Some of us will glorify him by worshiping him, and some of us will glorify him by allowing him to demonstrate his judgement & righteous wrath (kind of sucks, but we allow God to demonstrate his justice when we reject him).
You logic seems to be faulty; you seem to imply that God must not exist if you cannot understand him. I doubt that you understand Einstein, either, but that does not prove that he didn't exist. If you cannot understand God, then that only proves that perhaps you are not as smart as you thought you were, not that God is stupid.

God created mankind to love Him and have fellowship with Him. He also created us to care for His creation and to use it for our good. It is our choice whether or not to love and accept God and His Son Jesus Christ. If Jesus Christ hadn't come and paid the penalty for sin -death- then we wouldn't have a choice, but He did. Thus the choice for us is between eternal life with God or eternal damnation without God. Sin is the reason for this fallen world and the fact that most reject their Creator. The worst of these sins is what caused the fall of Satan -pride. God created everything "very good". Since God is perfect that means He created all things with ultimate perfection. It wasn't until mankind doubted God's Word and disobeyed His command -causing sin to enter the world- that everything stopped working perfectly. Of course, if you read the book of Genesis you'd already know that.
Thus the simplest answer to your question is that the creatures -mankind- are to blame, not the Creator

Well I think we were created with the intention of loving God and being his child and friend. I think we all deep down have a need to be loved by him and a need to love and be close to him. We were created with free will and he has told us to choose to do the right thing. It's like he gave us the answers to the test called life and said if you choose the wrong answer you're gonna die and be separated from me for a long time, and we choose the wrong answer anyway!

Actually that can be said and it makes perfect sense. But the key here is that God created you for his purpose, BUT also gave you the freedom to chose if you would or not. It makes perfect sense when you think about it with an open mind.
It's no different than a Beagle, it was bred to hunt, but some chose not to.

Personally, I have never said and nor do I believe that we were created to worship and Love the Creator/God/Higher Power/Energy Source/ or whatever you wanna call it.
We are here because we are here. A Higher Consciousness does not have a neediness for being worshipped.

We are created to become like God. We are given a certain spark of divinity that we can either ignite with knowledge and charity or we can extinguish with pride and selfishness. Your question is illogical. We are given this opportunity to prove ourselves worthy of progressing. If we choose not to progress our creator is not at fault we are. We have the power to choose. It is God given power. It is power very much like His. If one produces an automobile and it does not run. The automobile does not have a choice to fix itself. People have choice. They also have accountability.

We were created with free will. What a beautiful gift from Jehovah.
How we use it, for good or bad reflects on our relationship with him and with others.
Many today are under Satan's influence and that is why we see 2 Timothy 3:1-5 in fulfillment today.

Once Satan entered into the picture and Man's eyes were opened, that is when Free-Will of choice came in. For Satan put forth a tool(Decitfulness) to clutch at man, Man can either fight against this temptation (which leads to false promises) or go with it and be lost for all time

good point, and we were made to have free choice. Love isn't love if it is forced on you! You must make a choice to love, then the love is real.
We were created to make the choice, and we function very well at making choices, you have obviously made yours.
