It is sealed and awaiting a special occasion? Just want to know if it's still good?

Yes I have actually been told the older the more richer and better taste.

Well....depending on some factors:
1/ are you a wine connaisseur
2/ how was the bottle stored

Vintage Champagne are usually better champange then non-vintage, therfore they were more expensive to buy and more expensive to manufacture.Better attention to details...

If the bottle was always keep on the side, in the dark and at a cold constant temperature you should be able to drink and even enjoy the Champagne but more likely it will taste flat.

Champagne should better be drinken in the first 10 years maximum...

If you want an expert opinion, just bring the botlle to my restaurant and we will enjoy it together, if it's bad I'll open one of my bottle.
