wash your face in the morning and night, but make sure you get face wash that removes makeup because the makeup will make your acne worse if you don't wash it off. Also get a wash with acne medication, it'll say on the back. Also use lotion that's oil free.

Don't miss a day either - going to sleep with makeup on really sucks when you wake up in the morning!

And you don't necessarily need proactive, try more inexpensive washes before you turn to proactive.

Also, there's been no studies that point to food causing acne. In fact, I think it's been DISproved. I eat a lot of chocolate, but I have almost no acne (I'm 17). But drinking water WILL help, and plus it's good for you in other ways too!

I struggled with acne for years and I finally found the solution that works for me. We have been fooled, tricked, deceived, and just plain lied to. It's time that someone put a stop to it, and everyone learn the truth!

Those of us who suffer from acne have usually been given 2 choices and neither of them work:

1. Over the counter remedies such as cleansers, creams, ointments, etc. These things have been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

2. Go see a doctor and or dermatologist. They will generally prescribe prescription drugs which include topicals and or antibiotics. This, too, has been proven over and over again not to work. Why? It does not address the root cause of the problem.

I found a step-by-step program that cured my acne and it has never come back. It is amazing and doesn’t use any drugs or doctors. The truth is that acne can be cured…if we know the secret the doctors and drug companies don’t want us to know.

There is a great website: http://acnehomesolution.com/index.html that has all the details. I really suggest you check it out and see if it works as well for you as it did for me.

ACNE

If you’re looking for accurate acne information, best to see a dermatologist. Some people believe doctors are predisposed to take the easy way to deal with acne… prescription drugs. But, with many, this simplistic answer may not be the appropriate course of action. Some feel that such prescription drugs just treat the symposium and not the underlying cause. But, a local dermatologist is still your best starting point.

For me personally, I discovered a great informational acne treatment site. Not only is there good information/articles but I got their audio e-book and following it’s advice can now say that my acne is a thing of the past! Keep in mind, were all different and there are various types of acne, so what works for some may not be totally effective for all.

Bottom line, hang in there, you will get past this! Sincere best wishes and good luck.
Oh, by the way the site that helped me is:

first of all dont wear makeup...all it does is clog your pores more and make you break out..plus if you put concealer and like foundation on the acne..it cakes up and you can still see the acne...go to the doctor and get medication..i use dalacin t 1%...it really works..you just have to wait it out...if you want to wear make up eyeliner and shadow and lip gloss is all you can do for now..good luck!

drink lots of water and dont over wash your face.. this will dry your skin out.. if you start to develop acne that makes you feel "not as pretty" try ProActiv.. it really works and for make up try something oil free.. that should do the trick..
good luck to you dear

Well. for me I personally have realized that eating chips and fries or just greasy foods in general make my face breakout so what i am tryin to do this month is i am making a commitment not to eat chips, or fries... and so far it is working and my face isn't breaking out ... and then i use St. Ives apricot scrub you can get it pretty much any where like targets and walmarts ect.... it makes your face feel incredibly soft and cleans your pours.
