I guess he didnt like the airplane, because when we opened the crate I saw blood on his pillow and his paw was all bloody. He doesnt seem to bothered by it, he isnt limping or anything, it just looks like a bloody raw paw nail. What should I do? I vote for him just to walk it off.

I had a cat with a similar injure and the vet said it is best to use an antiseptic like neosporan, and just let it heal on it's own. Good luck!

Consult a vet for antibiotics just in case it becomes infected. It's going to be really difficult to keep that paw clean. I vote for a trip to the vet and possible antibiotics.
Edit to add - what a cutie! Was this trip to bring him home? How awesome is that! Good luck!

You need to take her to the vet. He will need to either make sure the nail is completely removed, or remove it. There is a chance it could get infected. Do not put a sock on her. Her teeth can get caught in the threats and so can her other toe nails.

Love on that sweet puppy! Here's what you could do.... Wash his paw with antibactrial soap and keep his paw clean and dry while it heals.I think the injury warrants the little guy sleeping on your pillow for putting him through the ordeal!

I vote you watch it closely and take him to a vet at the first sign of trouble.
In the meantime, an antibiotic ointment will be good. Bactine, I beleive, is safe for animals.

If it is still bleeding you could put styptic pencil on it, if not, just leave it alone and make sure it stays clean.
