since you seem to be one of those who hate Christians, why don't you explain why to us?
I think (and this is just my opinion) that you are mentally deranged and that is why you harass and insult people who don't do a thing to bother you.

There are many more God loving people in this world than not. Hate isn't like voting. The minority or the majority do not rule regarding the love of God. It is a purely individual choice. If every person on earth today were to tell me I was wrong for believing in God and Christ and in an existence after this one I would still believe. Being the only one believing would not make me wrong.

Christianity is not about a popularity contest.
Take for instance, in the days of the Roman Empire. Christians did not recognize the Roman Emporer as a God, and as a result were fed to the Lions. Because they took a stand to believe in something and to walk in integrity, they were slaughtered.
This has happened through many years. I'm not talking about those who kill in the name of religion, but I am talking about people like an abolitionist who would take a stand against Slavery here about 150 years ago.
To take the high road sometimes means to take an unpopular view. But we are not doing it for popularity in this world.

It's not what we have done, it's all about what Christ did...
Jhn 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life.
Jhn 3:18 "He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Jhn 3:19 "This is the judgment, that the Light has come into the world, and men loved the darkness rather than the Light, for their deeds were evil.
Jhn 3:20 "For everyone who does evil hates the Light, and does not come to the Light for fear that his deeds will be exposed.

Well, Jesus did say that because we (Christians) are not of this world, we would be hated. Granted, much as Jesus had some popularity as long as his miracles and works were healing and entertaining people, the world will accept those who are Christians to an extent while conveniently ignoring what they are saying that they don't like.

Jesus said "Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me."
We Christians are not trying to win a popularity contest.
Any time you speak out for the truth, some people are not going to like you.

n9wff is on the correct track. I take great comfort in knowing that scriptures are being fulfilled in my life.
John 15:19
If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
John 15:23
He that hateth me hateth my Father also.
John 15:18
If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.

John 15:20 "Remember the words I spoke to you: 'No servant is greater than his master.' If they persecuted me, they will persecute you also. If they obeyed my teaching, they will obey yours also."
In this verse, Jesus tells us we will be persecuted, just as He was, and people wil hate us for being Christian. The fact that so many people are against us only shows how true His Word is.
2 Corinthians 4:9 "persecuted, but not abandoned; struck down, but not destroyed."

Joh 15:18-21a "If the world hate you, ye know that it hated Me before it hated you. If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.
"Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted Me, they will also persecute you."
Those are Christ's own words, describing the very situation you're talking about.

they are not against people, they are against the message and Truth found in Jesus Christ. Men LOVE darkness rather than the light of Truth so I don't take insults for the sake of Christ personally. I'd rather pray for folks than stoop to that level. God bless!
