Just a reminder....there are REAL people on the other end of the computer. Your interactions with them can affect a person in ways that you might not intend. What you perceive to be a harmless insult just might be the last straw for the one on the receiving end.

None of us have any way of knowing what might be happening in the lives of those reading the questions and answers, so please, keep it kind.

Thank-you for bring that up. Because we forget that there are humans that ask these questions. What we write should be not different than what we would say to their face. Bless you!!!

I know this is not a question and can be reported as such, but you are so totally correct in what you say, that let me be the first, (or maybe the tenth person, since I hadn't read the answers yet) to say, Bravo. We need to be responsible to each other, and, yes, be it atheist, christian, muslim, hindu, or whatever, show mutual respect. After all, it's only about belief that we differ-belief without proof--in all cases.

And you never know when your communicating with a real angel!

So many perspectives, thoughts, and some misunderstandings..... I know some have took how I explain a question.... and misinterpreted the question, perhaps because they may only see it one way, perhaps that person is not understanding, and sometimes I just not worded it correctly.

Sometimes are intentions are taking wrongly.

I understand where you're coming from.....I also understand that there are a HUUUUGE number of groups out there, yahoo groups, msn groups, and otherwise, where respect and kindness is the rule.......and the people here are not there, because it just gets boring..

On the other hand, when you're looking thru people's answers here, and you rate their answer negatively, their further answers are hidden from you.

So you can easily discover the habitually mean people, and custome-craft your experience to exclude them.

my guess is you are preaching to the choir. People who do these things do it with hurting people in mind to begin with. This is just the sin of the flesh spoken of in scripture only at a more recognizable level due to anonymity

I still try to - but am still told every day that I'm going to hell, and that I *need* to accept Jesus..... And, yes, even when I ask serious questions, I'm still told this. I can post many links to the vile hatred that is tossed my way every day. I've about given up on Christians. I'm so happy that I'm no longer one of them. (Even my conciliatory New Year's greeting to everyone was deleted.)

Sorry, Red Queen. Thanks for letting me vent.
