FALSE !

These are not examples of "YOU" and "I", but rather are all examples of "I". That is, the "I" within. Each one of us is the sum total of both "this" and "that". One is "complete" in this sense, when one embraces "both". For as a person embraces only one side, and not the other, the person is "unbalanced", or better yet "polarized". You could not even exist without both "positive" and "negative" charges. (e.g. a car battery will not start the car if one of the two terminals are unattached)

The Poem would be true if it ended with the last note that "All are just examples of You", or "All are just examples of Me", but certainly not both, lest we "project" the parts we don't want onto someone else.

hmmm if you are *asking* whether the poem itself is simple, yes, and no. yes, in its seemingly "small" words, but no, because those dualities that exist between each pair can take on a myriad of different meanings, significant (or not) to every person...

i think the line "Angels & DEMANDS" caught my eye, as you did not use the overdone "angels & demons".... very interesting.... who are the angels? and what demands, if any, are placed upon them??... hmmm :)

and "Reason & Fait" also struck me.... maybe you meant "Fate", but "fait" (had to look it up out of curiosity) is part of "Fait accompli", basically "something good accomplished"... if that is the case....then 'fait' is indeed an interesting twist following 'reason'... :)

fare thee a pleasent night!

I love it!! But it would have been better if the ending was more of "Rich & Poor
Hello & Goodbye
But JUST
You & I"
